Astilbe arendsii 'Bunter'
False Spirea
Astilbe arendsii 'Bunter' (or 'Bunter Zauber') is a vibrant, mixed-color, shade-loving, showy perennial growing up to 28 inches tall. It produces feathery plumes in violet, red, pink, cream, and white throughout summer. Ideal for shade gardens, this hardy, deer-resistant plant prefers moist soil and is excellent for borders or cut flowers. Low maintenance; loves moisture but requires division every 3-4 years to maintain vigor. Excellent in shady beds and mass plantings.
